Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle will team-up for a night of comedy in London this summer. The two American stars will take over the O2 Arena on September 3.
Christopher Julius Rock (born February 7, 1965) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, producer and director. After working as a stand-up comedian and appearing in supporting film roles, Rock came to wider prominence as a cast member of Saturday Night Live in the early 1990s. He went on to more prominent film appearances and in 2020, he starred in the fourth season of the FX black comedy-crime drama anthology series Fargo.
Chris Rock has announced his first UK dates in more than four years. The comic will be bringing his Ego Death World Tour 2022 to Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and at London's Royal Albert Hall in May. It comes after he recently wrapped production on the a biopic of gay, civil rights activist Bayard Rustin - in which he plays fellow campaigner Roy Wilkins - and David O'Russell's untitled film. He last performed stand-up in the UK in early 2018 with his show Total Blackout (review) which is now streaming on Netflix.
