Teenager Luke Littler thrashed Stephen Bunting 6-1 with a ruthless display to set up a PDC World Championship final against Michael van Gerwyn, who he then defeated 7-2 to lift the trophy in the 2024/25 tournament.
The 17-year-old was runner-up last year and was bidding to become the youngest winner of the tournament after a whirlwind 12 months which has seen him become a household name.
In the 2022/23 tournament Michael Smith landed an incredible nine-dart finish on his way to claiming World Championship glory for the first time in a classic final against Michael van Gerwen at Alexandra Palace.
In the 2023/24 tournament Luke Humphries became the new name on Sid Waddell Trophy. He defeated Luke Littler 7-4 in the final; The teenage sensation won £200,00 on debut after making it to the final.
